Increasing ranks in a MicroFaction is only 3 EP per rank. Additionally it is half the cost to pick up Basic Resources for that MicroFaction. However, you do not have access to Advanced Resources in the way that a regular Faction would. MicroFactions may eventually be absorbed by larger groups. The Harlequins(Type: Criminal) The Harlequins are a criminal street gang located on Harlequin Court. They frequently use cyber-crime and pranks to get their way, but aren't above mugging someone for their electronics either. They are rumored to be in league with The Spiral, though the extent of this relationship is unknown. Fake ID - A Fake ID gathered by Organized Crime will hold up to most casual Net searches with a Hard Difficulty Investigate check, but any investigator suffers a penalty to their check equal to your rank in Faction. 3. Programs - You gain access to OverSite programs, often pirated software, based on your Faction rank (see Monetary & Gear Resources). 4. Drugs – Illegal drugs can be acquired at a number of doses based on the Faction Rank (see Monetary & Gear resources). 5. Personal Info - Using this Resource, a Net group gathers all online data about an individual target, you gain a bonus to social skills (Deception, Taunt, Intimidate, Persuade) against the target equal to your Faction rank. 6. High Tech - With this rank, you have access to an Experimental availability technology item or items, based on your Faction rank (see Monetary & Gear resources).

Wolverine Warriors(Type: Criminal) The Wolverine Warriors are a Inuit street-gang located on Wolverine Way. They are primarily Native American, but accept others if they prove their worth. The gang gets into frequent street battles with the Harlequins or groups like the Shark Tong. They tend to work with the Global Union rather than incite their wrath. Quotes: "Yesterday is ashes; tomorrow wood. Only today does the fire burn brightly." Leader: Jack Taktuq (Tribal Warrior) Basic Resources: 1. Gang - Street Muscle or Operatives, you can call in a number of men to assist you equal to your Faction rank x2 who are loyal and follow orders. The Muscle are only lightly armed or augmented. 2. Stolen Vehicle – You are given access to a chop-shopped stolen vehicle for the session, with fake untraceable registry, requires a Hard Difficulty Investigate check to discover the ruse. The vehicle has a price based on your Faction rank (see Monetary & Gear resources). 3. Ink - You can go to the Gang's tattoo artist to get symbolic gang tattoos that identify your status within the group. Each new tattoo tells a story about your career on the streets, gain a bonus to Intimidation for the session equal to your Faction Rank. 4. Drugs – Illegal drugs can be acquired at a number of doses based on the Faction Rank (see Monetary & Gear resources). 5. Weapons - Illegal weapons can be acquired and often are untraceable thru 3D printing or by having their serial numbers filed off, the cost of the weapon is equal to your Faciton rank (see Monetary & Gear Resources). 6. The Doc - You have access to a blackmarket gang doctor who can patch you up, by visiting the Doctor - you and your allies can heal a number of Health Points equal to your Faction rank x4.

The Shark Tong(Type: Criminal) The Shark Tong operate out of the Fish Market near the Harbor, they are a violent Asian criminal gang with ties to arms dealers. They are rumored to work with Chinese organized crime. They often cause trouble for other gangs who don't buy weapons from them. Quotes: "If you stand straight, do not fear a crooked shadow." The Kodiak Rangers(Type: Law Enforcement) Formerly members of the Kodiak DNR and Wildlife services, they now are allowed to exist in a Law Enforcement capacity by the FAA. Unlike most police forces, they have ultimate jurisdiction on Kodiak and don't need a warrant if they suspect foul play. They are provided arms and equipment from the secessionist forces and tend to be judge, jury and executioner in most instances. Quote: "Wolves walk not widely, as they were wont, for fear of rangers and the great hunt." Leader: Charles Deniigi (Game Warden of Kodiak Station) Basic Resources: 1. Backup - You can call squad backup of Sentinels or Operatives working with the Rangers, you can call in a number of men to assist you equal to your Faction rank who are loyal and follow orders. They are often lightly armed or augmented. 2. Vehicle - A vehicle is provided to you for patrols or missions during the session. The vehicle has a price based on your Faction rank (see Monetary & Gear Resources). 3. Armor – You gain access to a suit of armor or protective gear of a price based on your Faction rank (see Monetary & Gear Resources). 4. Lockup - You can place any prisoner or captive into a Ranger Jail Cell for a number of days equal to your Faction rank, even if you don't have any evidence. 5. Armory - Gain access to a Ranger armory for the session. The cost of the weapon or weapons available is based on your Faction Rank (see Monetary & Gear Resources). 6. Authority - You gain the ability to fall back on your authority and jurisdiction in criminal matters, giving you a bonus to Intimidate skill checks equal to your Faction rank.

The Devil's Own(Type: Criminal) The Devil's Own are a biker gang based out of a motorcycle club in a bad neighborhood on Devil's Prong Road on the Northside. These dangerous bikers tend to roam across the city causing mayhem and looking for drugs or some sucker to fleece. Quote: "I hate everybody." (GG Allin) Leader: The Shatter Man (Augmented Psycho) Basic Resources: 1. Custom Paint - You can have a custom paint job put onto your personal vehicle which represents the gang and its achievements, gain a bonus to Intimidation for the session equal to your Faction Rank. 4. Weapons - Illegal weapons can be acquired and often are untraceable thru 3D printing or by having their serial numbers filed off, the cost of the weapon is equal to your Faciton rank (see Monetary & Gear Resources). 6. Chopshop - You can have a vehicle repaired equal to your Faction Rank x4 in Structure Points or you can have a number of Vehicle Options swapped on a vehicle equal to your Faction Rank.

The Eskimos(Type: Tribal) The Eskimos are frequently residents of Eskimo City, most of them are Native American, even if marginally so. The group forms a close-knit community that trades in favors and 3D printed goods. They often form protective groups against gangs and hostile groups. Grass Roots - A specific issue suddenly become a political hot topic in your area, within your Faction rank in miles. 6.
