Survival in the Wild: Characters spending even 1 Scene or roughly 6 hours game time (whichever is less time) in the Wilderness need to worry about the elements depending on the season. Fatigue loss from environmental conditions cannot be recovered by resting, without heated tents and proper food/water supplies. Seasons:Fall (Stamina check Very Hard Difficulty (14), Fatigue Loss: 1 point), Chance of Blizzard (Fortune Easy Difficulty 8) Winter (Stamina check Challenging Difficulty (16), Fatigue Loss: 2 points, Effect: Extreme Cold causes a -2 penalty to actions and may be harmful to some Gear), Chance of Blizzard (Fortune Hard Difficulty 12) Spring (Stamina check Very Hard Difficulty (14), Fatigue Loss: 1 point), Chance of Blizzard (Fortune Easy Difficulty 8) Summer (Stamina check Average Difficulty (10), Fatigue Loss: 1 point), Chance of Thunderstorm (Fortune Easy Difficulty 8) Extreme Weather (On a Failed Fortune skill check, extreme weather occurs, either a Blizzard or Thunderstorm depending on the season, all skill checks made while in Extreme Weather are considered a Critical Condition) BlizzardPerception Skill Penalty: -4 Exposure: 4d6 Damage (Type: Cryo) each hour Duration: 2d6 hours Stamina Check Frequency: Every hour of game time. Places of the WildsThe White RoadOld roads that ran throughout Kodiak Island, they have long since become overgrown and unused. These are sites of Ranger patrols and movement along the outer parts of the islands. They also serve as good hunting grounds. The Old Rail
The old Kodiak rail system has fallen into disuse, once an extension of the Subway Line to connect the island, its since fallen to disrepair after several de-railings during the battle between the FAA and the US Government that resulted in the territory becoming liberated.
